Theatre Making

As a theatre-maker, I create uniquely intimate live experiences for audiences of all sizes. My point of inspiration is seeing the Total Solar Eclipse in 2017. There were 100,000 strangers looking up at the sky, all feeling the same thing: wonder.

Collective wonder is the exact experience I want to facilitate for my audiences. To achieve this, I tap into my skills as a musician, dancer, and writer to make pieces in which movement, text, and music all exist on the same plane to tell a story.

My work is often devised with an ensemble, utilizing collaborative play to develop the physical and emotional world. I love magic, playing with scale, and figuring out how to transcend the restraints of gravity. Check out my current projects here! And check out my education page to learn about workshop offerings.

Harold and the Purple Crayon

Harold and the Purple Crayon is a collaboration between playwright Claire Glubiak and myself. Our 45min adaptation for all ages utilizes dance, text, music, and circus to bring Harold's story to life. We hold the non-exclusive rights to perform the piece anywhere through June of 2024. Claire and I are actively looking for a home for this piece in NYC! Think you could help? Check out our highlight reel and workshop images below.

Horizon

Horizon follows a diver who travels to the great pacific garbage patch to find his father, who has long been lost at sea. There, where the ocean trash eternally circulates, the diver discovers a world full of sea creatures that worship the very plastic that is killing them. The piece is an environmental fable about coping with grief, and learning to move on in the face of loss. Live original music, dance, puppetry, and text exist on the same plane to tell the story. This piece is currently in active development. Wanna help out? Contact me to get involved!
